Reverse Reward Points

This API endpoint lets a partner (such as Konkrd) reverse points it previously added with Add Reward Points, for example when a policy is cancelled. It is called server to server: it is restricted to the partner’s IP addresses and does not use a user API token.

Each award can be reversed once. Repeating the request returns the original reversal.

Request Body

• user_id (string): The member’s user ID.

• transaction_reference (string): The reference used when the points were added.

Response

• reward_point_transaction_id (string): The ID of the reversal transaction.

• user_id (string): The member’s user ID.

• transaction_type (string): 11 (Partner points reversal).

• description (string): Copied from the original award.

• points (integer): The negative number of points reversed, for example -500.

• transaction_reference (string): The original reference with :reversal appended.

• created_at (string): When the points were reversed.

status is error, with a message explaining why, when no points were added with this reference for the member, or when the member no longer has enough points (already converted). Nothing is reversed in either case.
